Sona was a woman who was a very enlightened Zen Master. People came from afar to see her and be healed by her. People came to her with all kinds of troubles such as financial, health, marital, and work problems. No matter what their distress or what question they asked her, Sona had only one thing to say to each person that came to see her:

“Thank you for everything.
I have no complaints whatsoever.”

Some people went away disappointed; others became angry; others tried to argue with her. Yet some people took her suggestions to heart and began to practice them. The story goes on to say that everyone who practiced Sona’s lessons found peace and healing.
